![]() There a bunch of other options that I can't get into fully like options specific to each car like storage ability for vans and trucks, off-road modifications like lifting suspension and not just lowering, 4 wheel steering, engine conversations, etc, you get it, the possibilities are endless. Would certainly contribute to the "realness" of the game, what little is left of it in it's current state anyway. Maybe make the higher end looking ones more expensive. You know how some street cars spawn with pre-applied modifications? Basically that, but you can pick and choose which ones you want. Rockstar doesn't even need to design extra wheels to add to each category, just add the existing models as options and boom its done. That is a simple solution to any wheel concerns that players may have. The street wheels category that was added recently was a good first step but I suggest going all out: you can essentially replace any wheel that fits (as in no huge truck wheels on sports cars) on any other car that you own. How many times, especially in newer vehicles, did you look at the wheels and think "man, I wish I could get those on some of my other cars?". ![]() So what changes do I propose to make to solve this issue? For starters, owned car wheels are unlocked as customizable in other vehicles. It might have been a cute gimmick 10 years ago when bling culture was still somewhat alive but it is now increasingly making the game more dated. It kind of defeats the purpose of car modifications in the first place when the only options are "stock" and "SUPER MEGA ULTRA RICER FART CAN 3000". I'm not saying that Rockstar should remove these options from the game, having a larger pool of options to choose from is good after all, but it would be nice to have some nicer stock wheels or different car seat options or cleaner spoilers. It's not only an old car thing, either, even the newer cars have the same type of extravagant types of options not too dissimilar to the ones that the original ones had. Go take a look at any Rockstar newswire post and go look at the official game screenshots of vehicles, what do you see? The same ugly modifications and 2013 wheels that have been around since the games release. These are so common because that's all Rockstar encourages, essentially. The old time stereotype of the ugly looking car with dollar wheels and a chrome wrap. That being the fact that the most, if not all of the available modifications in this game are gaudy, extravagant, and frankly, outdated. This is a rant that I had in my mind for quite a while so I decided to spill it out here, one major flaw that makes car modding in this game fundamentally flawed. ![]() 1) Relevant, Reposted, Repetitive, Stolen Content, or Solicitation 2) Be Respectful 3) Descriptive Titles, Use the Appropriate Flair 4) Low Effort Submissions 5) No Discussion of Cheating or Glitches 6) Heist/Crew Recruitment And Looking For Players/Crews 7) Disallowed YouTube/Video Content 8) Question Posts And The FAQ Weekly Question Thread 9) Screen Capturing 10) Moderator Discretion The moderators of /r/gtaonline reserve the right to remove any post or comment at our own discretion or if they break the rules.
